ResourceAce Support
Support for ResourceAce is provided remotely or on site as needed and is billed hourly at $125 or deducted from your annual support agreement.
Use the built in “Send Request” feature located in the help system to send our technical support department the details of the problem you are having. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible. When necessary we will use our remote support tools to login to your system and try to correct any problem you may be having.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)
Do I need a dedicated server to run ResourceAce?
Yes, if you want multiple users to access the system at the same time and you want regular backups of the system you will need to be running FileMaker Server 16 or later on a dedicated server computer not being used for other purposes. If your agency has fewer then five users you may be able to use the program without running a server but this is not recommended. Please contact our sales department to discuss your situation if this is the case.
Can both Windows and Macintosh computers have access to ResourceAce at the same time?
Yes, regardless of the server you are using both Macintosh and Windows computers can be accessing ResourceAce at the same time on the same network.
Can I access ResourceAce when I’m not at the office?
Yes, provided your local computer network is setup properly. You can either use the FileMaker client directly from a remote computer or use remote access software like Remote Desktop or a VPN connection to access the program.
Does ResourceAce work in a web browser like Internet Explorer or Safari?
No. ResourceAce requires the FileMaker Pro client and cannot be accessed via a web browser at this time.
Does ResourceAce work on mobile devices?
Yes on ipads only but additional customization may be needed to get it work properly in your environment.
As our agency grows can we add more users?
Yes! ResourceAce is licensed on a per named user basis which means that you need a separate license for each person using the program regardless of how many computers are at your agency. Please contact us to purchase additional user licenses. A new serial code will be issued to you which will increase the user limit on your copy of ResourceAce.
